Data protection for your account on SKF.com

Personal data registration on SKF.com

When you submit your registration details and/or resume, SKF uses this information for the following purposes:

• Selecting and recruiting;
• Assessing available positions that may suit your profile;
• Compiling statistics and reports.

The information marked with an asterisk is compulsory.

When you submit your resume and activate it in our database, your resume is then available to all SKF recruiters.

If you do not want your resume to be seen, you can simply deactivate it in your Candidate Account. Your resume will remain in the database, but it will not be available to recruiters. If you use your resume to apply for a job posted by SKF, only the recruiter that posted the position will receive your resume.

Data storage duration

The information submitted will be held for a period of 18 months in our resume database.

Data use

Your personal information may be disclosed to all SKF recruiters worldwide for recruitment and staffing purposes. It will NOT be disclosed to non-SKF entities, unless we are required to do so by law.

Access and modification

You have the right to access personal information pertaining to you and to update, correct or delete your personal information. You may amend your own data yourself, by connecting to your Candidate Account using your username and password. You may, at any time, withdraw your consent and ask for your Candidate Account to be deleted, by e-mailing us at infotalent@skf.com.

Cookies

Candidate Account functionalities may require use of cookies.

We predominately use “session” cookies. These are not stored on your hard drive, and expire after two hours of inactivity or when you close your browser.

Cookies only register information linked to your settings in the Candidate Account (resumes, the ‘apply online’ process, job search agents, etc.)

You may accept or decline cookies at any time. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser setting to decline all cookies if you prefer. Alternatively, you may be able to modify your browser setting to notify you each time a cookie is tendered and allow you to accept or decline cookies on an individual basis.

If you choose to decline cookies however, this may affect performance and negatively impact on your experience of the website.
